LPS 1175 is a leading standard for assessing the resistance of physical security products against manual forced-entry attack.

Products are tested by experienced attack teams using defined categories of hand, power and specialist tools. Ratings combine the tool category with the minimum resistance time, for example:

C5 — Category C tools / 5 minutes resistance
D10 — Category D tools / 10 minutes resistance
G5 — Category G tools / 5 minutes resistance

LPCB certification goes beyond the initial test, with ongoing surveillance of manufacturing and quality controls. Certified products are independently listed in the LPCB RedBook.

Security performance depends on the complete system, including panels, joints, fixings and interfaces — not just the panel in isolation.

Ballistic Walling & Enclosures

ARMOR-MOD is our modular ballistic walling and enclosure range, developed for applications requiring certified protection against firearm attack.

Tested to EN 1522/23, the range is available from FB3 to FB6 and combines high levels of ballistic resistance with flexible, modular construction suitable for secure rooms, enclosures and protective walling systems.

Tested for Ballistic Resistance

EN 1522 defines the ballistic resistance classifications, while EN 1523 sets out the test method used to assess performance.

Systems are subjected to defined firearm, ammunition and impact conditions appropriate to the targeted FB classification.

FB3 to FB6 Protection

ARMOR-MOD is available across a range of ballistic protection levels:

As the classification increases, the ballistic threat represented by the prescribed test ammunition and conditions increases.

This allows the system to be selected according to the project-specific threat assessment and required level of protection.
